WIT Ventures ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of every individual who visits this website, makes a payment, or engages our renovation and interior fit-out services. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how and why we use it, who we share it with, and the rights available to you. It should be read together with our PDPA Terms & Conditions. By using this website or providing your personal data to us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.
We may collect: (a) identity data — full name and NRIC or passport number; (b) contact data — phone number, email and correspondence address; (c) property data — building name, unit details and renovation requirements; (d) transaction data — payment type, amounts, deposit and settlement records, and payment-reference numbers; and (e) technical data — IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our licensed third-party payment gateway and are not stored by us.
We process your personal data to: process booking deposits and full renovation payments and issue receipts; respond to enquiries and prepare quotations; schedule, deliver and manage renovation works; communicate project updates; comply with our legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations in Malaysia; and, where you have consented, send marketing and promotional communications. We process data on the lawful bases of performance of a contract, your consent, our legitimate business interests, and compliance with legal obligations.
We may disclose your personal data to: our appointed contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers engaged to deliver your renovation; our licensed payment-gateway and banking partners; our professional advisers (legal, audit, accounting); our group of companies and affiliates; and government authorities, regulators or law-enforcement agencies where required by law. We do not sell or rent your personal data to any third party.
Your personal data is primarily stored and processed in Malaysia. Where data is processed outside Malaysia (for example by a cloud or payment provider), we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a comparable level of protection.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures — including access controls, encryption in transit and secure third-party processors — to protect your data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes set out above, including to satisfy any legal, tax or accounting requirements. Transaction records are generally retained for seven (7) years in line with Malaysian statutory requirements.

This Refund Policy applies to all payments made to WIT Ventures through this website, including the RM 5,000 booking deposit, full renovation settlement ("Clear-Off") payments, and progressive milestone payments. By making a payment you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted this Policy.
The RM 5,000 booking deposit is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellation, change of mind, or non-commencement of works by the client. The deposit secures your project slot and design consultation, which commit our resources immediately upon payment. The deposit is credited in full toward your final renovation package total once works commence.
No cooling-off period applies to the booking deposit or to any payment made through this website. The deposit and any sums paid are forfeited to the extent of works performed, materials committed and costs incurred up to the date of cancellation.
A 3.5% transaction fee is added to every payment made through this website to cover payment-gateway and processing charges. This transaction fee is non-refundable in all cases, including where an underlying payment is otherwise eligible for a refund.
Where a client elects to clear the full renovation amount online, the payment is applied to the contract sum. Once works, design, or procurement have commenced, full-settlement payments are non-refundable except for the value of works and materials not yet committed, which shall be assessed by us in good faith.
Payments made against completed milestones (for example, materials procured or works completed) are non-refundable. Cancellation after works commence will be settled based on works completed and materials committed up to the cancellation date.
A retention sum of five percent (5%) of the contract value is held and released after the defect-liability period following handover, subject to rectification of any notified defects. The retention sum is not an advance refund and is governed by your contract.
Client-requested variations may affect pricing and timelines and do not entitle a refund of sums already paid. Delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control (for example, site access, building-management restrictions, or force majeure) do not entitle a refund.
If we are unable to proceed with a project for reasons attributable to us, we will refund payments received for works not yet performed and materials not yet committed, less the non-refundable booking deposit and transaction fee.
Where a refund is exceptionally agreed by us in writing, email hi@witventure.com with your name, payment reference and reason. We will acknowledge within three (3) business days, and approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within fourteen (14) business days.
Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 or other applicable Malaysian law that cannot be lawfully excluded.

These General Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of this website and your engagement of WIT Ventures ("we", "us", "our") for renovation and interior fit-out services. By making a payment or engaging our services, you ("the Client") agree to these Terms.
"Contract Sum" means the total price for the renovation works as set out in the final quotation. "Booking Deposit" means the RM 5,000 payment to secure a project slot. "Clear-Off" means full settlement of the Contract Sum online. "Works" means the renovation and fit-out services to be performed.
Prices displayed on this website are indicative and subject to a final quotation issued after on-site assessment. All prices exclude SST and statutory charges unless stated. Quotations are valid for thirty (30) days unless otherwise specified.
Works are limited to the scope set out in the accepted quotation. Any additional works or variations must be agreed in writing and may incur additional charges and time.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment follows this schedule: (a) Booking Deposit — RM 5,000, non-refundable, payable to secure the slot and credited toward the Contract Sum; (b) 40% of the Contract Sum (less deposit) upon commencement and design sign-off; (c) 30% at the agreed mid-progress milestone; (d) 25% prior to handover; and (e) 5% retention released after the defect-liability period. Clients selecting "Clear-Off" pay 100% of the Contract Sum upfront online. We reserve the right to suspend Works for overdue payments.
A transaction fee of three point five percent (3.5%) applies to every payment processed through this website and is added to the amount payable at checkout. This fee covers payment-gateway and processing charges, is non-refundable, and applies to deposits, milestone payments and full-settlement payments alike.
The Client warrants that they own or are authorised to renovate the property and will obtain any necessary building-management, strata, or local-council approvals (including DBKL, MBPJ or other relevant authority requirements). The Client shall provide timely site access, utilities and decisions.
Indicative timelines run from design sign-off and are subject to site conditions, material lead times, and approvals. Time is not of the essence unless expressly agreed in writing.
Variation requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to revised pricing and timelines before being carried out.
Workmanship is warranted for the defect-liability period stated in your contract from the date of handover. The warranty excludes fair wear and tear, misuse, third-party alterations, and manufacturer-warranted items which carry their own terms.
A 5% retention sum is held until expiry of the defect-liability period and released subject to rectification of any notified defects.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the value of the Works performed. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of rental income.
We maintain reasonable insurance for our works. The Client is responsible for insuring the property and its contents.
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control.
Either party may terminate for material breach not remedied within fourteen (14) days of written notice. On termination, the Client shall pay for all Works performed and materials committed up to the termination date; the Booking Deposit and transaction fee remain non-refundable.
All designs, drawings and concepts prepared by us remain our intellectual property until the Contract Sum is paid in full.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The parties shall first attempt to resolve disputes amicably; failing which, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
We may amend these Terms from time to time. The version published on this website at the time of your payment applies to that transaction.

We collect personal data directly from you when you enquire, complete our payment form, pay a deposit or settlement, or engage our services, and from your authorised representatives.
Your personal data is processed to: process deposits, full settlements, milestone payments and invoicing; provide quotations and carry out renovation Works; communicate with you regarding your project; meet legal, audit, tax and regulatory requirements; and, where you have consented, send marketing and promotional updates.
Your personal data may be disclosed to our contractors, suppliers, payment processors and banks, professional advisers, group companies, and relevant authorities, strictly for the purposes above and in accordance with the Disclosure Principle.
By submitting your details, paying a deposit or settlement, or engaging our services, you consent to WIT Ventures collecting, using and disclosing your personal data in accordance with this notice. You may withdraw consent by writing to us, although this may affect our ability to provide our services or complete your transaction.
We process personal data in accordance with the seven PDPA principles — the General, Notice and Choice, Disclosure, Security, Retention, Data Integrity and Access principles.
We take practical steps to protect your personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, and we retain it only for as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law.
You have the right to request access to and correction of your personal data, and to limit its processing. Requests can be made to the Data Protection contact below and may be subject to a prescribed fee and verification of identity.
